• The project focused on standardizing, purifying, integrating, and storing various segments of data through cloud-based data pipelines, with an organized approach to managing rejected, discarded data and processing logs in an AWS S3 data lake. It also involved providing cloud-based data processing dashboards for daily load activities and provisioning a new data platform for Master Data Management (MDM) and Operational Data Source (ODS) to resolve performance issues in the old data warehouse platform.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering a technical solution for the remediation of the data warehousing platform, migrating from on-premise to cloud.
• Redesigning inbound file layout mappings to ensure accurate data obfuscation, profiling, and validation before routing into the inbound zone using Python scripting.
• Developing end-to-end ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) frameworks for loading data into AWS Redshift, MDM, and ODS.

The goal was to improve customer experience on both desktop and mobile platforms, enhance performance, and streamline operations.

• Delivering the technical solution for migrating core banking application data from the legacy system to a cloud-based platform.
• Remapping the data model according to the new system’s requirements.
• Performing one-time data migration for the current snapshot and subsequent delta migrations for ongoing data transfers.
• Establishing two-way SSL authentication between servers to ensure secure data/file transfers.

Project: Digital Campaign Management for Multiple Clients

Overview:

• The project involved migrating a loyalty platform from on-premise infrastructure to AWS Cloud, utilizing AWS DMS (Data Migration Service) and Glue to manage and automate the data migration process. The solution required building complex SQL reports, tuning database performance, and optimizing batch jobs to meet service level agreements (SLA). Additionally, a Big Data platform was created on AWS EMR and Ubuntu servers, utilizing a 9-node cluster to process client weblogs and archives, with Talend OS for Big Data handling the entire automation of data loads and extracts.

• Designed and developed an end-to-end data warehouse solution on the Oracle Database Enterprise platform.

• The Service Master Data Management (MDM) project focused on centralizing global Dell asset and entitlement information into a single, unified database on the Oracle platform. The goal was to streamline data management across multiple systems by consolidating data from various sources into a centralized repository.
